I have used a lot of cosmetics in the last 13 years. I was 12 when I started wearing makeup. I used to steal my mums foundation out of the bathroom and put it on with my fingers and it was SO patchy. Just foundation, nothing else. I thought I looked incredible lmao. Then when I was 13 I started experimenting with eyeliner and eyeshadow. I would basically just slather my waterline in pitch black kohl liner and smudge it a little bit in my lash line. At 17 I was right into the whole lot. Lipstick, liners, shadows, blusher, bronzer etc. I was also heavily into hair products and needless to say I ended up having to cut it all off because of how damaged it was. That will happen when you go from black to bleach blonde over and over again within the space of 12 months!

When it came to deciding what products to incorporate with Colour Junkie, not only did I have to choose products that people would actually buy, they had to be products that I was passionate about and that I could comfortably wear too. They HAD to be cruelty free, have minimum fillers in the ingredients, NO parabens and most importantly they had to be affordable (single mum life).

I started with lipsticks. I went through at least 7 different suppliers before I found the perfect matte liquid lipsticks! I had the absolute displeasure of sampling some lipsticks that legit smelled liked poison and it bled into my mouth, yuck,

They had to be matte (but not too drying) velvety, a decent thick consistency, have a good applicator wand and they had to actually last/not peel off when I started talking. These also happened to smell amazing! When I found the perfect formula I was overjoyed and KNEW that every product after had to be amazing.
But most importantly, they had to be Cruelty Free.
Amazing quality makeup + affordable prices = happy customers and happy Hannah.
